Salman Khan's "Mental" co-star Daisy Shah brushed off reports of a romantic link-up between her and the "Dabangg" star.
Recently, rumours were doing the rounds that Salman and Daisy were romantically involved after they were seen taking a stroll together in Lavasa, where they had been shooting for the first half of "Mental". It was also said that the two would go on late night bicycle rides together.
When asked about their alleged romance, Daisy said, "Speculation and rumour is nothing new in the industry. Reports might suggest so many things, but the reality is best known only to us,"
The south sensation, who was roped in opposite Salman for "Mental", could not stop praising him for offering her the lead role in the film.
"Salman never forgets his promises and gave me a second chance in 'Mental'. He is the giving type. If a person deserves a chance, he will definitely give them that. I am glad that Sohail (Khan) and Salman thought that I would fit the role perfectly. The role is made for me and I am not going to prove them wrong," Times of India quoted her as saying.
Salman had offered her the second lead role in "Bodyguard" which she rejected. Later, she was again approached for "Mental".
Daisy is currently in Mysore shooting for "Aakramana" opposite Raghu Mukherjee. According to reports, the actress has been flooded with offers especially from the south after she was signed for "Mental".
"I'm getting offers from big stars in Kannada cinema. But I can't predict the entertainment industry," said the actress.
"Mental" is a remake of Telugu movie "Stalin" and is directed by Salman's brother Sohail Khan. The movie also stars model-turned-actress Sana Khan.
"Mental" is slated to hit screens on 22 November.
