Criminal Minds season 11 aired episode 10, titled "Future Perfect", on 9 December, before it went on a mid-season break and is now expected to return with episode 11 only next year, on 13 January, 2016. And if the rumours are anything to go by, then it looks like Dr Reid will go on a date that will turn into a death trap in "Entropy".
Last week in episode 10, we saw the BAU team investigating a twin murder case, where their UnSub was fascinated with medical experimentation. They tracked him just in the nick of time when he was all set to commit another murder.
The mid-season finale was medically interesting as it also revealed that the UnSub was traumatised by seeing an elderly man dying at a nursing home. He wanted to find a cure to prevent people from getting old and so that they don't have a painful death from old age. And to do this, the criminal mind performs blood transfusions on his subjects and used the DNA from animals with longevity to try to create a "fountain of youth" remedy.
At the end of "Future Perfect" Garcia, who wants to get out of witness protection, is being whisked away by Hotch from her seclusion at the FBI office at Quantico.
And now, though the network has released no official synopsis for 2016 mid-season premiere episode, reports hint that Dr Reid's love story will be the focus of the episode. He is expected to go on a date with a woman named Cat Adams (played by "Parks and Recreation"and "Grumpy Cat" star Aubrey Plaza) and she's definitely not the woman he thought she was.
According to TV Line, Dr Reid goes on a dinner date with Adams and just before main course she pulls out a gun and points it at this BAU member. Cat apparently will disclose that she knows that Reid is an FBI agent and challenges him to "think on his feet to save himself and other guests at the restaurant".
"Criminal Minds" season 11 is on a mid-season break and will return with "Entropy" on 13 January, 2016. For more information on the upcoming episode and live streaming details, don't forget to check back here.
