Launch of Karthi and Nagarjuna's Untitled Film
Picture House Media Ltd claimed that Shruti opted out of the film citing date clashes with her other projects, whereas the dates had reportedly been allotted as per the actress' convenience.
The unethical and unprofessional behaviour of the actress has resulted in damage to reputation of the media house apart from crores of financial loss.

Until further orders from the court, the actress has been restricted from signing any new offers and police will investigate the matter.
A few days ago, there were reports that the actress opted out of the Karthi starrer to focus on Vijay and Mahesh Babu's projects.
Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan's daughter already has four Bollywood and two Tamil projects -- "Yaara", "Welcome Back Film", "Gabbar Is Back, "Rocky Handsome", "Puli", "Thala 56" and Mahesh Babu's untitled film -- in her kitty.
