With just a couple of weeks before the 2015 Cricket world cup would kick off, ICC (International Cricket Council) has officially released an application to bring live sporting action right into your palms via smartphones and tablets.
"The App is designed so intuitively for your smartphone and tablet, automatically reacting to your screen size to give the best user experience and will ensure that for all cricket fans, the tournament never sleeps," said ICC in a statement.
Salient features of ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 app include:
- ICC Live Match Centre: this feature will provide real-time ball-by-ball scores with commentary.

- Score/wicket notifications.
- Tournament stats with tabular columns showing details like points, net run-rate and more.

- App users will also get access to exclusive article written by Cricket World Cup legends and renowned sports columnists.
- Polls & social hub to get interactive with #cwc15.
- This app will enable user to pick a country of their choice and get exclusive details on that particular team.
- At the end of innings (or match), users can access exclusive match videos & highlights.
