Bengaluru-based start-up Creo unveiled April 13 its much-awaited smartphone Mark 1 in New Delhi.
The USP of Creo Mark 1 is the device is expected to get new features with every monthly update. It runs the Android-based Fuel OS. It offers stock-Android experience and also comes with a handful of nifty features such as Sense search, Echo (inbuilt voice-call recorder), Retriever (anti-theft mechanism) and an intuitive messaging app with spam filter and quick-reply features, Creo said.
As far as hardware is concerned, Creo Mark 1 boasts a metal body made of a high-grade aluminium and magnesium alloy with 2.5D glass shield on the side. On the front, it sports a 5.5-inch QHD screen with Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
Under the hood, it comes with a 1.95GHz MediaTek Helio X10 SoC (System-on-Chip), 3GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt memory and a 3,100mAh battery.
The Mark 1 also boasts top-notch camera hardware. It houses a 21MP Sony IMX230 with f/2.0 aperture lens, dual-tone LED flash, PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) 4K video recording and 120fps slo-mo full-HD video recording. On the front, it comes with a 8MP snapper with 86-degree field of view.
Mark 1 owners will reportedly get the next software update May 13. It will apparently bring a new photo editor, selfie screen flash, Automatic BKG Data Manager, auto and customisable Echo, Sense 2.0 and performance-enhancement tweaks.

Creo Mark 1 price details:
Creo Mark 1 costs Rs. 19,999, and will be made available on Flipkart and the company's own website later this month. Users can register on Creo webste (HERE) to get details related to the device's availability via email.
Mark 1 buyers will also have an option to get personalised messages (40 characters) engraved on the device's metal frame (on the left side), but, such phones have to be purchased only on Creosense.com.
Competition:
Considering the price-range, Creo Mark 1 will be up against Lenovo Vibe X3, OnePlus 2, Moto X Style, Yu Yutopia and others.
