Kannada actor Crazy Star V. Ravichandran is all set for his debut in popular Kannada reality show "Big Boss 2" on 6 July. The actor will share space with the popular actor Kichcha Sudeep, who is the anchor of the show. One can expect a lot of fun on the stage as Sudeep is going to engage the crazy star with a lot of interesting questions.

Ravichandran and Sudeep have recently acted together in the film "Maanikya," which was a super hit film in Kannada. The action thriller film was directed by Sudeep himself and is the remake of Telugu film "Mirchi" (2013). It was the second most expensive film of Kannada after "Krantiveera Sangoli Rayanna" and was released on 1 May 2014. It broke almost all the records when 8 lakh tickets were sold out on its first day. The film was also sold at a record satellite right amount of ₹5.5 crore to Asianet Suvarana channel.
Meanwhile, Ravichandran will be seen promoting his latest flick "Drishya" in "Big Boss 2." The film, remake of the Malayalam super hit film "Drishyam" starring Mohanlal was released on 20 June and is well received by the audience and critics alike. In "Drishya," Ravichandran plays the character of Rajendra Ponnappa who is a common man. The film revolves around Ponappa who is leading a happy life with his wife (Navya Nair) and two children. Being an orphan, he is a self made man and runs a cable business in his village. He is well respected by everyone in his town except a police constable. The film takes a turn when Ponnappa's family falls into a trap and are questioned by police officers with regard to a murder case. The film also has star cast of Prabhu Ganesan, Asha Sarath, Achyuth Kumar, Suchendra Prasad, Srinivasa Murthy, Shivaram, Jai Jagadish, Swaroopini and Unnathi.
"Big Boss" season 2 is one of the most popular reality shows in Kannada. The show started telecasting in Asianet Suvarana channel on 29 June and is produced by Endemol India.
