A man from Michigan has been charged with assault by strangulation after he apparently became 'jealous' of a man he shared his wife with.
According to a report in Huffington Post, 30-year-old Martin Miller and his wife Daniela Miller were sharing their home in Bay City, Michigan, with 20-year-old Michael Chaney, a homeless man.
Statement from those involved suggests that the trio indulged in a threesome in early September, after which according to Chaney, Martin got 'jealous' of him.
On 12 September, Chaney cooked some beef in the kitchen, while the couple was in the bathroom. When Chaney finished cooking, he took a portion of the food to the couple for them to taste. However, an angry Martin apparently threw the food in the bathtub. Chaney came back with more portion of the food and Martin repeated his act.
The duo broke into an argument, which escalated and turned into a physical fight. The physical fight was reportedly first started by Martin who kicked Chaney in the chest and also choked him.
"I am a marine. When someone challenges me I go into kill mode", Martin, who served with the U.S. Marines from 2002 to 2005, reportedly told police.
Interestingly, Daniela and Chaney's Facebook pages state that they are in a relationship.
Meanwhile, this is not the first time a threesome has led to violence and blood-shed.
Earlier in September, a man allegedly stabbed his roommate multiple times for being too loud during a threesome. The 42-year-old man from San Antonio, named Antonio Flores Narcisso broke open his roommate's door when he could no longer bear the noise coming from his co-tenant's room, as he had sex with two women, nypost.com reported.
Narcisso' unidentified roommate was apparently celebrating his 35th birthday with the threesome.
Narcisso initially told his roommate, to keep the noise low but his roommate reportedly got angry and the conversation turned into a fight. Narcisso then went to the kitchen and got a knife, with which he stabbed his roommate repeatedly in the head, back and hands, according to CBS Houston.
The roommate survived with non-life-threatening injuries, after which Narcisso was charged and is presently at the Bexar County jail.
