Relationship rumours are commonplace across film industries. Stars are romantically linked every other day, even if they are catching up as friends at a restaurant or working on a film as professionals.
According to BollywoodLife, Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapur are the new lovebirds in B-Town. The two are apparently using their free time on "Dream Team" tour (which includes Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Parineeti Chopra, Karan Johar and Badshah) getting to know each other better.
What's helping them deepen their bond are performances, in which they have been paired opposite each other. Aditya and Katrina are "secretly getting too close for comfort," the entertainment portal reported.
However, a source rubbished the rumours. "Katrina and Aditya worked together during Fitoor and are friends but there is nothing more to it. The rumors are baseless , untrue and utterly distasteful," Pinkvilla quoted the insider as saying.
Dating or not, it's best known to them. However, even if they got together it wouldn't be tough to strike a rapport as they have done a film — "Fitoor" — and also once shared a common link — Ranbir Kapoor.
The dating rumours come after the news of Ranbir making a "hush-hush" visit to Katrina's home. A mutual friend was present at the scene, but didn't stay for the meeting the ex-flames had.
Katrina and Ranbir's story in a few words
Ranbir and Katrina were dating for quite a few years and had even moved in together. They were coughing up a huge sum of money for their love nest, which was done up with art collections from across the world.
There were strong murmurs that the two are committed and are set to take the plunge. Last Christmas, they happily posed for shutterbugs while on their way to attending a lunch hosted by Ranbir's family. The month after, they split leaving everyone surprised.
Although, Ranbir and Katrina have never admitted to being in a relationship, the leading lady did make it evident when she was asked how should one deal with a break-up? She said: "Go to the gym and do crunches."
Their personal rapport may have gone for a toss, but professionally, they will be seen promoting Anurag Basu's "Jagga Jasoos" together. The film is scheduled to release on April 17, 2017.
