The song "Malare" from Malayalam movie "Premam" was released on YouTube a few days ago and within hours, the popular song was among the top trending videos on the video-sharing website in India.
But much to the disappointment of fans, the video was removed for copyright infringement, despite being uploaded by the official YouTube channel of Anwar Rasheed Entertainment, the movie's producer.
The makers of the movie ensured the video was back within two days with an assurance that all copyright issues have been sorted out.
"The video was claimed by a fake account created in the name of our music company.... I don't know what they want from this ... But here is malare song again," wrote the director of the movie, Alphonse Puthran, on his Facebook page.
"Malare" song features Nivin Pauly and debutant Sai Pallavi and has been composed by Rajesh Murugesan, who had previously composed songs of Alphonse's hit movie "Neram".
The song "Malare" has been viewed by seven lakh people, prompting the music composer to share his excitement on Twitter.
