The landmark Copa America event, the Copa America Centenario, kicks off on June 3 in the United States of America. As many as 16 teams will be participating this time around, to vie for the coveted title.
While the hysteria among the football fans is at an all-time high, the absence of some key stars could also come as a disappointment to the supporters. Brazil hotshot Neymar, for one, isn't participating in the event, as he prepares for the Rio Olympics 2016.
Selecao legend Kaka was a part of the final squad only until Wednesday. The decorated midfielder had to pull out of the team at the last minute owing to a hamstring injury. He has been replaced by Paulo Henrique Ganso in Dunga's final squad.
"Kaka has had discomfort in training and safety, and had undergone an MRI, which showed a small problem. Doctors indicate between 15 and 20 days of recovery," said Brazilian Football Confederation official Gilmar Rinaldi to the AFP.
The participation of Uruguay hotshot, Luis Suarez, in the tournament, is also a major doubt as the star striker is nursing a hamstring injury suffered in Barcelona's Copa del Rey final against Sevilla. Uruguay will be looking forward to lifting their record 16th title this time around.
Let us look at the final 23-member squad of all the 16 teams, divided in four groups.
