The 44th edition of Copa America begins from 11 June and all the participating teams are busy preparing for this exciting tournament.
Copa America 2015 will be hosted by Chile. There will be 12 teams, which will be divided into three groups of four teams in each.
Copa America 2015 will see 10 teams from the South American Football Federation (CONMEBOL) and two teams from the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF), which are Jamaica and Mexico.
The winner of Copa America 2015 will automatically qualify for the FIFA Confederations Cup 2017. If either of the guest nations (Mexico/Jamaica) wins this cup then the best placed CONMEBOL team will qualify for the FIFA Confederations Cup 2017.
In the group stages, each team will have to play three games. The top two teams from each of the three groups will qualify for the quarter final stages. Two best third-placed teams will also qualify for the quarter finals as well. Quarter final stages will have four matches, followed by two semi final games and a match for the third place (which will be played between losers of both the semi finals) and then the big final.
