Coolpad hits a hat-trick of successful flash sales for its Note 3 Lite in India. On Thursday, the third flash sale for the Note 3 Lite ended in 12 seconds for 25,000 units. The Chinese smartphone maker has collectively sold 80,000 units of Note 3 Lite in just 41 seconds in three flash sales in India so far.
The first flash sale for Coolpad Note 3 Lite went live on Jan. 28, in which the company sold 30,000 units in 21 seconds. The trend continued with the second flash sale on Feb. 4, when 25,000 units of the Note 3 Lite went out in just 8 seconds. The consumer response during both flash sales was overwhelming, as the company recorded more than six lakh registrations for the first sale and seven lakh registrations last week.
"We intend to continue building this momentum for Coolpad by reaching out to the masses through our value offerings," Syed Tajuddin, CEO of Coolpad India, said in an email statement.
We reviewed Coolpad Note 3 Lite earlier this month and it comes as a great surprise for a handset priced under Rs 7,000. It offers features like HD screen, fingerprint scanner and reliable battery life. While it earns recommendation for first-time buyers, it also serves as a great companion for a secondary device.
