Coolpad announced on Thursday that it had completed the second flash sale for its Note 3 Lite in India and it had received great response from the buyers. The Amazon.in-exclusive flash sale on Thursday ended in just 8 seconds after the company's stock of 25,000 units sold out.
The Chinese smartphone maker launched its Note 3 Lite in India last month and the first flash sale for 30,000 units last week ended in 21 seconds. The consumer response in both flash sales was huge as more than 600,000 customers registered during last week's sale and the company received over 700,000 registrations for its second flash sale.
"The number of handsets sold as well as registrations witnessed for Note 3 Lite reiterates the growing popularity of Coolpad in the country," Syed Tajuddin, CEO of Coolpad India, said in a statement. "It is this endeavor to bring innovative and affordable technology with a great experience to our users that has resulted in such a favourable response for both the devices, Note 3 as well as Note 3 Lite, we intend to continue building this momentum for Coolpad by reaching out to the masses through our value offerings."
Coolpad also revealed details of the next sale, which is set to take place at 2 p.m. on 11 February. As usual, the sale will happen on Amazon India and registrations are mandatory. Considering how quickly the stock is being sold, it is best to keep a reminder and login few minutes prior to the sale.
The demand for Coolpad Note 3 Lite in India is reasonable. The handset is aggressively priced at Rs 6,999 and offers fingerprint scanner. Coolpad, with its Note 3 Lite, also complies with India's "Make in India" initiative.
In terms of specifications, Coolpad Note 3 Lite sports a 5-inch HD screen, 13MP primary camera with LED flash, 5MP front snapper with CMOS image sensor and a 2,500mAh battery. It is powered by a 1.3GHz 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 quad-core processor, ARM Mali T720 GPU, 3GB RAM and has 16GB storage. In our review, we found the handset quite worthy for its price.
