Chinese smartphone maker Coolpad is reportedly planning to announce a new phone in India later this month.
The company has released a teaser on the official India Facebook page with the caption: "The wait is finally over. Are you ready for the big news? ‪#‎DualInOne, our flagship smartphone is on its way for a grand launch on Friday 20th May, 2016. Excited? Stay tuned here for all the details."
The cryptic message does not give away any clue on the device's name. But, numerous reports have indicated that the company is likely to launch Coolpad Max.
It was originally unveiled in China last year. The highlight of the Coolpad Max is that it boasts dual-system — an external open system that has all features normally expected in a cellphone and an internal security system, which encrypts the phone user's calls and texts. It also comes with the company's exclusive software that comes equipped with secure financial applications, including mobile payment option.
Coolpad also boasts all-metal body, 5.5-inch full HD display, fingerprint sensor on the back, a 64-bit class Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor, 3GB/4GB RAM, 16GB/32GB inbuilt memory, Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, 13MP primary camera, a 5MP front snapper and a 2,800mAh battery.
Earlier in the month, Coolpad released Note 3 Plus in India. It features fingerprint sensor, Android 5.1Lollipop OS, 3GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt storage, 13MP primary camera on the back, a 5MP front snapper and a 3,000mAh battery.
