Chinese smartphone maker Coolpad, which made its India debut a few weeks ago with its white Dazen 1 model, has released a new sandstone black variant.
The company's e-commerce partner Snapdeal is now selling both snow white and sandstone black Dazen 1 variants for ₹5,999, ₹1000 less than the original price. This makes Coolpad the only device to boast of 2GB RAM and cost less than ₹6,000.
Coolpad's closest rivals with similar specifications - YU Yuphoria and Lenovo A6000 Plus - cost ₹6,999 and ₹7,499 respectively.
For the uninitiated, RAM (Random Access Memory) is one of the key components of any smartphone. It helps in optimizing resource allocation to applications; more the RAM capacity, higher the efficiency in functioning. It also means less lag while playing high-intensity games and performing multi-tasking.
Coolpad Dazen 1 sports a 5.0-inch HD IPS screen, runs on 64-bit class Snapdragon 410 CPU, has 2GB RAM, 8GB inbuilt memory, 8mp camera, 5mp snapper and 2500 mAh battery.
[Note: Besides the sandstone black variant, snow white Dazen 1's price has been reduced to ₹5,999, HERE]
