Denying reports that she will team up with Akshay Kumar for "Jolly LLB 2," Sonakshi Sinha has revealed that she is not a part of the film. Sonakshi will next shoot for "Noor," in which she plays the role of a journalist.
The actress took to her Twitter handle to clarify that she is not a part of the sequel to the 2013 release, "Jolly LLB." "Sonakshis spokesperson denied the buzz" still such a long article im not a part of JollyLLB. Noor is next for me," Sonakshi tweeted.
The first part of the movie, which featured Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani, was directed by Subhash Kapoor. The sequel will star the "Housefull 3" actor and Manoj Bajpayee.
Fans will be disappointed to know that Sonakshi and Akshay won't appear on the silver screen in this one. The duo has already signed a film, "Namastey England" together. If "Jolly LLB 2" had also featured the two, it would have been their sixth film together. Sonakshi and Akshay have earlier appeared in films like "Rowdy Rathore," "Holiday: A Soldier is Never Off Duty," "Once Upon A Time in Mumbai Dobaara" and "Joker."
Meanwhile, Sonakshi will be seen in films like "Akira" and "Force 2" this year. She will start shooting for "Noor" in July, and will apparently wrap it up in August. According to recent reports, she will also appear in the remake of Rajesh Khanna's "Iteffaq" alongside Sidharth Malhotra, and the film will be produced by Shah Rukh Khan.
"I have wrapped up my next, and will soon finish shooting for my film with John. The release dates of both the movies have been announced, so, I'm excited. I finally have some time off now. So, I am doing what I love to do — travel. I have also started painting," Sonakshi told the Hindustan Times about her upcoming projects.
