Bollywood beauty Sonakshi Sinha is all set to share screen space with southern star Mahesh Babu in a Telugu flick.
Mahesh Babu will be working with critically-acclaimed director Krish in a film titled "Shivam", It will be prouduced by Ashwini Dutt under his Vyjayanthi Movies banner.
Actress Sonakshi who made her debut in Salman Khan's "Dabaangg" will be paired opposite Mahesh Babu for the first time in this film.
"I am doing a Telugu film next year with Mahesh Babu called Shivam, which will be directed by Telugu director Krish," Sonakshi told The Times of India.
"When Krish came to me with the script I thought I would politely decline, as I was too caught up with my Hindi films this year. But when he narrated the script, I was hooked and insisted that he tell me about it in detail. Over the next three hours he narrated the entire script to me and I thought I had to do this film," she added.
Sonakshi is currently busy with multiple projects including Akshay-Imran's "Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobara", "Lootera" with Ranveer Singh and Prabhu Deva's "Rambo Rajkumar" with Shahid Kapur.
"Rambo Rajkumar" is her second film with Prabhu Deva. She is also doing one more film with the director and will have Ajay Devgn as the male lead. Earlier she was part of Prabhu's "Rowdy Rathore", which is a remake of Telugu film "Vikramarkudu".
Now, the young actress will be seen teaming up the young heartthrob of southern cinema - Mahesh Babu - in a direct Telugu film. Mahesh is working on the film "One -Nenokkadaine", directed by Sukumar. He is also set to begin shooting for Sreenu Vaitla's "Aagadu" which will have Tammannah as the female lead.
"Shivam" with Krish will go on floors next year.
