Priyanka Chopra has confirmed that she has signed her first Hollywood film "Baywatch" alongside Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron. After her American television series "Quantico," this will be her second international project.
The 1990s television series of the same name was about a group of lifeguards in California. But, in the flick "Baywatch," Priyanka will play the character of the villain, Victoria Leeds. Produced by Paramount Pictures, Johnson aka The Rock will essay the character of the leader of an elite group of lifeguards and Efron will be seen as a young hotshot former Olympian.
Priyanka has officially declared on social media that she would be part of "Baywatch." A video of PeeCee and Johnson has gone viral on social media as well. She posted a video with a caption that read: "And it's time to tell u all officially!! #Baywatch it is @therock ! Being Bad is what I do best!!! U better watch out!!"
Also, Johnson posted the same video on Instagram with the caption: "She's one of the biggest stars in the world. Insanely talented, relentlessly smokin' and extremely dangerous - perfect for #BAYWATCH. Welcome @PriyankaChopra to our bad ass and incredibly dysfunctional family. Cue RATED R slo-mo running on the beach. We start shooting next week. World.. #WelcomeToBaywatch."
In the video, Johnson introduced Priyanka as India's biggest star and one of the world's biggest stars. He called her as the extremely dangerous "Baywatch" villain.
Priyanka has again proved that she is a talented woman. Though she is busy with "Quantico," the actress agreed to give dates for the shooting of "Baywatch" as well. The audience from around the world would love to see the People's Choice Award winner in a Hollywood film.
Meanwhile, Bollywood celebs are praising the actress on Twitter for bagging "Baywatch." Priyanka will next be seen in Bollywood movie "Jai Gangaajal," which has been directed by Prakash Jha. The film is set to hit the theatres on March 4. Last year, Priyanka was appreciated for her brilliant performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Bajirao Mastani."
