Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh was making headlines recently for being caste in the popular HBO television series "Game of Thrones" (GoT).
But a report from the official fan community of the show 'Watchers on the Wall' got a confirmation from HBO that Neil will not be a part of Season 6 of "Game of Thrones".
However, Neil told DNA: "Nothing is confirmed so far. All I can do is keep my fingers crossed. Though 'Game of Thrones' is one of my favourite series."
Earlier, it was reported that "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" (PRDP) action director Greg Powell had offered him a role in the TV series.
It was also reported that Powell is the action director in "GoT" as well, but there is no mention of "GoT" on his IMDb page.
On the other hand, Neil went on to make statements of him being the part of this popular American TV series.
"Greg has directed two sword-fighting sequences in 'PRDP' for which I had to train for over a month in order to get the stance and wrist movements right. He seemed pretty impressed with all the hard work I put in, and made the offer when we were shooting for the climax scene a few months ago," Neil said.
He even talked of the character he was going to play in "GoT", and also said he does not have any issues with nudity and intimate scenes, which "Game of Thrones" is known for.
"I play a royal in both (GoT and PRDP) and also feature in combat scenes," Neil said.
"I have gone nude for 'Jail' (2009 film), so why not for this? I am okay with it if it's required for my character. I am not intimidated by it as an actor," he added.
However, none of his dreams seem to be coming true, as HBO has denied all such reports.
Currently, he will be seen in "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" as Salman Khan's step-brother. The Sooraj Barjatya directorial is set to release on 12 November.
