The release date of megastar Mammootty's much awaited "Pathemari" has been confirmed. The actor himself cleared the rumours around the release date through his Facebook page on Wednesday, 30 September.
After postponing the release date of "Pathemari" many times, it will now hit screens on 9 October.

Earlier in July, the film was reportedly stayed by the Ernakulam Additional Sessions Court citing plagiarism issues and was re-scheduled to be released along with Dileep's "Life of Josutty" and Asif Ali's "Kohinoor" on 24 September, but was postponed due to unknown reasons. Then reports had it that it will hit theatres on 2 October.
Directed by Salim Ahamed, "Pathemari" tells the story of Keralite migrants in Gulf countries.
The film also has "D 4 Dance" fame Jewel Mary, Sreenivasan, Salim Kumar, Balachandra Menon, Joy Mathew, Yavanika Gopalakrishnan and Shaheen Siddique in pivotal roles.
Pathemari Releasing on October 9th.

While Oscar winner Resul Pookutty has handled the sound recording of "Pathemari", the film's music has been composed by Bijibal and cinematography has been done by Madhu Ambat.
