Earlier, a lot of names were doing the rounds including "Mareesan," "Garuda," "Puli" and Maru Dheeran." But the makers have finally revealed the name as on Vijay's Twitter handle.
"We @SKTStudios are proud & happy to announce that our upcoming film with Ilayathalapathy Vijay is titled as #PULI," the makers of the film tweeted.
"Puli" is one of the most-awaited Tamil films of 2015. The Vijay starrer will reportedly have the actor playing dual roles. Buzz is that he will be appearing as a commander as a dwarf in the film, though there is no official confirmation in this regard.
Yesteryear actress Sridevi is making her comeback to the Tamil film industry after several years with this film.
