There have been a lot of reports on Ajith Kumar starrer "Yennai Arindhaal". But there was no clarity whether the movie would release this year or might get postponed to next year. Finally, the production house has confirmed regarding its release.
The much expected "Yennai Arindhaal" will be the first major release of the year 2015. The production company has announced this news on Saturday, 21 November, with an advertisement that it will release for 'Pongal' 2015.
The production house's press release also reads, "The shooting schedule is fast approaching the wrap up period and the promotions are to be unleashed from this week end."
The promotions will kick-start with the release of upcoming flick's teaser.
The makers of "Yennai Arindhaal" wanted to release the movie in December. They had eyed the Christmas season for its release. As the movie shooting could not be completed as planned, the film's release is being delayed.
Also, the makers of the film were aware of the fact that Rajinikanth's "Lingaa" would be released in December and the superstar's film would get the maximum screens in Tamil Nadu. Hence, "Yennai Arindhaal" release has to be pushed.
"Yennai Arindhaal" will be released in a record number of screens. The Ajith starrer might be released on 13 January and might clash with Karthi's "Komban", which is also scheduled to release during Pongal.
"Yennai Arindhaal" is produced by AM Rathnam, who had produced Ajith's last movie "Arrambam". The Vishnuvardhan's film had also made good business and are hoping to repeat the same magic again.
The upcoming movie, directed by Gautham Menon, has Trisha Krishnan and Anushka Shetty in the female lead roles and Arun Vijay play the role of a baddie.
