Here is exciting news for the Thala fans.
It is confirmed that the official teaser of Ajith starrer "Yennai Arindhaal" will release this week. The film is one of the most-awaited films of 2014 and fans have been eagerly waiting for its teaser.
The video was expected to release on 27 November, but it did not happen much to the disappointment of the fans. A member from the film's team has now officially confirmed that the teaser will be launched this week, though the exact date is yet to be revealed.
Since Ajith and "Yennai Arindhaal" producer AM Ratnam apparently consider Thursday as a lucky day, the teaser is expected to be released on 4 December.
The announcement has come just a day after the makers of Vikram-Shankar's "I" unveiled the Chennai theatre listings for the film's Pongal release.
It is well known that both the films are set to hit the screens for Pongal 2015. "Yennai Arindhaal" team was the first to confirm the Pongal release.
On Friday, "I" team surprised the fans by releasing the film's Chennai theatre listings. With "Yennai Arindhaal" team having announced the teaser release, the buzz surrounding both the films has started to soar.
Teaser link will be release this week officially in @YennaiArindhaal page. Wait for the feast. #YennaiArindhaal

While both the films are set for a box office clash, they are unlikely to release on the same day. As of now, it seems that one film will release on 9 January, while the other might hit the screens on 15th of the same month.
It will definitely be a big dhamaka for film buffs as they will get to see Ajith and Vikram locking horns at the box office.
Directed by Gautham Menon, "Yennai Arindhaal" is an action thriller with Ajith appearing in the role of a cop. This is the first time that the actor has teamed up with the director.
On the other hand, "I" is a romantic thriller with Vikram sporting four different looks. The actor has teamed up with director Shankar for the second time, after the success of their 2006-release "Anniyan."
