Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 and Micromax's newly launched Canvas Tab 9650 are giving a cut-throat competition to each other in the tech market. Though both the gadgets are of the same cost, the devices still have huge differences when it comes to specifications.

Micromax Canvas Tab P650
The price of this newly launched device by Micromax is Rs.16, 500 just as its competitor Samsung Galaxy Tab 3.
Canvas Tablet sports a display of 8 inches along with a screen resolution of 1024X768 pixels and the device has slimmer body of just 9.6 mm, according to The Mobile Indian. The flagship device runs on Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean operating system and it has a 1GB RAM.
The gadget is powered by 1.2 GHz quad core processor and it has a 16GB internal storage capacity along with 32GB expandable storage slot. The Canvas Tab has SIM connectivity along with 3G network and there is a facility of WiFi, Bluetooth and the USB connectivity as well.
Camera being one of the important features for all the customers who wish to buy a tablet, Canvas sports a 5 megapixels rear facing camera and a 2 megapixels front facing camera. Micromax also declared that the Canvas Tab is capable of recording videos at 30 frames per seconds along with a 4X zooming capability.
The battery backup of the tablet is considered to be one of the best at 4800 mAh.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3
Samsung released its Galaxy Tablet 3 in July and sets back buyers by ₹16,500.
It features a 7 inch display along with a screen resolution of 1024x600 pixels. The body of the tablet is 9.9 mm, which is a little thicker than the canvas tab. The Galaxy Tab 3 runs on the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system and it also features Samsung's very own TouchWiz user interface.
The flagship device is powered by 1.2 GHz dual core processor and it has an internal storage capacity of 8GB, which can be expanded up to 32GB with a microSD card slot.
Just like Canvas Tab, Galaxy Tab 3 also has SIM connectivity along with 3G network and there is a facility of WiFi, Bluetooth and the USB connectivity as well.
But, the tablet seems to lose some points when it comes to the camera front as the device just has a 3 megapixels rear facing camera along with a 1.3 megapixels front-facing camera. The battery of the device too has a smaller capacity compared to Canvas Tab. Tab 3 boasts of a 4,000 mAh battery.
After comparing both the devices, it appears that each has its own benefits but Micromax Canvas Tab P650 scores better in most of the specifications.
