The greatest convention for comic book and general entertainment fans worldwide, the San Diego Comic Con, is less than a month away. We know Marvel Studios will be MIA this year, however, Marvel TV, which includes "Agents of SHIELD" and "Agent Carter", will have panels at SDCC 2015.
Among channels, The CW has always had a strong presence in the Comic Con , and this year will be the same. In fact, the upcoming show "Containment" will also be screened on the preview night.
Here is the complete line-up of the CW TV shows that will have a panel at SDCC 2015.
Wednesday, 8 July (Preview Night)
Containment (6-10 pm): A remake of the Belgian TV series "Cordon", "Containment" is about a mysterious and deadly epidemic that breaks out in Atlanta. The show will be screened along with other shows like "Supergirl" (CBS) and "Lucifer" (Fox), which are set for premiere in the upcoming TV seasons.
Friday, 10 July
The 100 (12.30-1.30 pm in Ballroom 20): This will the show's third appearance at the Comic-Con, and this time round the stars and show-runners will discuss about what happens in Camp Jaha after Clarke (Eliza taylor) leaves, and how Bellamy (Bob Morley) will deal with the new responsibilities that are suddenly thrust on him. "Bellark" will also be a definite topic at the panel, along with ALLIE's plans for Jaha.
The Originals (4.30pm to 5.30 pm in Ballroom 20): Stars of the supernatural series, along with executive producers Julie Plec and Michael Narducci, will discuss the future of Mikaelsons in season 3. The show will also have a special video presentation for the fans, followed by a Q&A session.
iZombie (5.45-6.45 pm in Ballroom 20): The latest member of the CW family that has been renewed for a second season "iZombie" Comic Book panel is guaranteed to be exciting. The executive producers Rob Thomas and Diane Ruggiero-Wright, along with Rose McIver, Malcolm Goodwin, Rahul Kohli and others will clarify fans' doubts regarding season 2.
Saturday, 11 July
Containment (6.15-7.15 pm in Room 6BCF): This will be debut appearance of the freshman show in Comic-Con, and after the screening of the pilot on Wednesday, Preview night, the stars David Gyasi, Christina Moses, Chris Wood, Claudia Black and Kristen Gutoskie, along with executive producers Julie Plec, Matt Corman and Chris Ord will take part in a Q&A.
Arrow, The Flash and DC's Legends of Tomorrow (8-11pm as part of Warner Bros Television & DC Entertainment Present: Super Hero Saturday Night): Along with the screening of other Superhero shows like "Supergirl" and "Gotham", CW's "The Flash" and "Arrow" panels will also present at the Comic Con on Superhero Saturday Night. The stars will also take part in Q&A sessions with fans. "Vixen", the animated series heading for a slot in The CW, will also be previewed during the superhero event.
Sunday, 12 July
The Vampire Diaries (10-11am in Hall H): Veterans of the San Diego Comic Con, "TVD" cast and show-runners will be back for their seventh appearance this year. However, this is their first Comic Con since Nina Dobrev's departure from the show and fans would definitely want to know how season 7 will proceed without her. A video screening and the following Q&A session will definitely help out in this matter.
Supernatural (11.15 am-15.15 pm in Hall H): Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, Misha Collins and Mark A Sheppard, along with executive producer Jeremy Carver will be holding the panel for the longest-running CW show in Comic-Con. An exclusive video preview of season 11 will show fans how "Darkness" will engulf Sam and Dean following the death of "Death". A Q&A session will also follow it, along with the preview of "Supernatural: The Complete Tenth Season" DVD and Blu-ray with exclusive clips.
