"Comedy Nights With Kapil", one of Indian television's top rated shows, has resumed shooting after the fire mishap last week. Bollywood action king, Akshay Kumar, will be the first celebrity to visit Lonavala for the shooting of the show.
The sets of "Comedy Nights With Kapil" was gutted down causing damages worth crores of rupees for the show's producers. The shooting of the comedy serial is now taking place on the sets of "Bigg Boss" where the "Weekend Ka Wow" episode was shot in Lonavala, Maharashtra.
According to The Times of India, Akshay will be the first celebrity who will fly down to Lonavala to be a part of the show. He will be seen promoting his upcoming film "Boss" and will be accompanied by actor Ronit Roy.
Singer Honey Singh was also believed to have come down to Lonavala to attend the show, but he had to leave for Dubai to attend an event.
A source associated with the show told TOI, "We are overwhelmed with the support we have got from every section of the industry. Akshay has an amazing sense of humour and we had a whale of a time the last time he had visited the set."
Last month, Akshay attended the show along with Sonakshi Sinha and Imran Khan for the promotion of their film "Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai Dobaara". His comedy film "Boss" is releasing on 16 October.
Kapil Sharma, who is the host and one of the producers of the show, was offered support from Bollywood celebrities including playback legend Lata Mangeshkar, Rohit Shetty and Shah Rukh Khan, after the mishap. [Read the report here]
