Krushna Abhishek and Kapil Sharma's cold war came out in the open sometime back when the former made some blunt comments after Kapil wrapped up "Comedy Nights with Kapil." Now, the "Comedy Nights Live" host has alleged that the "other party" might be spreading rumours about his show going off air.
There were rumours that Krushna's "Comedy Nights Live" is slated to be wrapped up and the makers of the show are prepping for its last grand finale. However, Krushna has denied the buzz and apparently hinted that Kapil and his "The Kapil Sharma Show" team might be spreading the rumours.
"It is not a finale. It could ne that the 'other party' is spreading rumoyrs (laughs). Yes, we shot for an event. It is called the Nalla Awards. A number of celebrities have come for the event. 'Comedy Nights Live' is very much on. We are shooting for the series," Krushna told Bollywoodlife when asked if they are preparing for last episode of the show.
Although Krushna did not take any name, he blaming the "other party" appears to be a dig at Kapil and his team. Earlier, Kapil had a fall out with Colors channel when he had expressed his annoyance at similar content being shown on "Comedy Nights Bachao" and "Comedy Nights with Kapil," and same celebrities appearing on both the shows.
Eventually, Kapil decided to wrap up "Comedy Nights with Kapil" and shifted to Sony Entertainment Television to start a new show titled "The Kapil Sharma Show." Kapil's show was replaced by Krushna's "Comedy Nights Live." Krushna runs another show on Colors TV titled "Comedy Nights Bachao."
