Krushna Abhishek's "Comedy Nights Live" isn't being loved by the viewers, but that isn't stopping the stars from promoting their films on the show.
A bunch of photos doing the rounds on social media show Salman Khan exchanging pleasantries with "Fitoor" cast Katrina Kaif, Aditya Roy Kapur, and director Abhishek Kapoor on the sets of "CNL".
The actor not only visited the studio but also urged fans on Twitter to watch the premiere episode. "Watch the launch episode of Comedy Nights Live at 10pm. All the best and do whatever u want to do man, but don't trouble your mother," he posted.
Unfazed by the negative reviews, Bharti Singh and Mika Singh expressed happiness about their new show having met expectations. While the singer-composer wrote he missed Kapil Sharma, the stand-up comedian gushed over the "superb response".
Meanwhile, the war between the comedians got nasty when Abhishek decided to take nasty digs at Sharma in a recently published interview with SpotboyE.
"Why couldn't he have had a healthy competition with me? Why did he run away? Why did he feel so insecure? He is such a talented artiste. I thought he'll fight back. If you recall, he felt insecure even when Guthi's popularity increased. Think of it, Guthi's show too didn't well when he branched out and quit Colors," he added.
In other news, Madhuri Dixit Nene entered the show as its first celebrity guest. Sudesh Lehri, Upasana Singh, Rashami Desai and Bharti will be seen playing some of the key characters.
