Bollywood actors Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have been busy with their upcoming film "Shaandaar" promotions on TV reality shows. Recently, the duo appeared on popular comedy show "Comedy Nights With Kapil".
After Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, host Kapil Sharma had a fun ride with Shahid and Alia. The "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon" actor took to his Twitter handle to inform people about "Shaandaar" team coming on his show.
"Good morning friends :) today shooting with team #Shaandaar @shahidkapoor and @aliaa08 love u all," tweeted Kapil on Friday.
However, the episode will air on next weekend as this Sunday Aishwarya's "Jazbaa" team will be seen on "CNWK" on Colors.
Meanwhile, Shahid and Alia looked stunning in the outfits they chose to wear on Kapil's show. Several photos are making round on the internet which are posted by the actors.
Alia also thanked Kapil after the show for welcoming them on "Comedy Night With Kapil". "The most SHAANDAAR show !!! Thank you @KapilSharmaK9 for such a killer time #ComdeyNightsWithKapil @shahidkapoor," Alia tweeted.
Directed by Vikas Bahl and co-produced by Phantom Films, Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Fox, "Shaandaar" has created a lot of curiosity.
In the film, both Alia and Shahid suffer from insomnia and fall in love in the middle of a larger-than-life wedding. It is an out-and-out youthful love story focusing on two characters -- Alia (Alia Bhatt) and Jagjinder Joginder (Shahid Kapoor). Alia's father Bipin (played by Pankaj Kapoor) adds a twist to their romance as he believes no guy will ever be good enough for his daughter.
While Alia is a dreamer, Jagjinder Joginder is a doer and he feels he can make anything happen. And Bipin hates him for the obvious reasons.
This is the first time that Shahid and Alia are teaming up for a film. "Shaandaar" is supposed to be India's first ever film on "destination wedding".
The film is slated to release during Dussehra on 22 October.
