As part of "Mary Kom" promotional spree, Priyanka Chopra was on "Comedy Nights With Kapil" to talk about her upcoming release. Peppered with mad acts, it was an entertaining episode from start to finish.
Since it was the actress' third visit, funnyman Kapil Sharma jokingly said she was finding new ways to meet him. Agreeing to Sharma's allegations, the actress said she had 'thoda thoda' (some) feelings for him and dampened his spirits by singing an emotional number (depicting a mother-son bond).
"Mary Kom", which is essentially the story of the five time world champion, also deals with the inner turmoil of the sport star. Chopra slipped into the skin of the character and built a physique worthy of many praises. She challenged some of her fans on the show to do a set of push up workout with her and even boxed with Dolly Daadi (Ali Asgar) in a ring.
Wearing India's jersey, the "Barfi" actress said she felt 'extremely proud' to have gotten an opportunity to do a film of such caliber.
Slated for release on 5 September, "Mary Kom" is director Omung Kumar's debut film.
Surprising everyone on the show, Chopra said she had to train 6-7 hours every day to achieve the right physique. The actress also recently opened up to Times of India about the life lessons boxing has given her. "If you screw up in tennis, it's 15-love. If you screw up in boxing, it's your ass, darling!," she said.
