Recently, the "Happy New Year" cast appeared on the show. SRK, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Vivaan Shah, Boman Irani and director Farah Khan came to promote their film on "CNWK".

The TV show host came to Mumbai with a dream to become a singer, which is his first love. Initially, he was a struggling theatre artist and later he participated in a comedy show on a Punjabi channel in 2005 before winning the comedy show, "The Great Indian Laughter Challenge", in 2007.
The comedian has a 3-film contract and talent management deal with Yash Raj Films in his pocket. Once, the legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar has praised Sharma's singing talent when he was a wild card contestant in a singing reality show, "Star Ya Rockstar", according to The Times of India.
