As part of "Singham Returns" promotional spree, Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor were on "Comedy Nights With Kapil" to talk about their upcoming release. Peppered with mad gags by Dolly Daadi (Ali Asgar) and Pankhuri (Kiku Sharda), the show was an entertainer from start to finish.
According to an India Today report, the lead pair was seen having fun on the sets and also participated actively in some of the acts performed by the cast of the show. Kapoor showed her signature moves and danced with one of her fans.
From the pictures it looks as if Devgn was a silent observer until Daadi stormed in atop a bicycle. She tried stealing a kiss (famously known as the "Shagun ki Pappi") or two from actor, but later engaged in an aerial fight with Pankhuri (who also made a very Ajay Devgn style entry on a self-balancing battery-operated two-wheeler).
In a sequined Namrata Joshipura top and Zara pencil skirt, Kapoor looked every inch a stunner. Devgn kept it simple in a white t-shirt and pair of jeans.
Slated for release on 15 August, "Singham Returns" is director Rohit Shetty's latest offing. The sequel promises gravity-defying stunts and mind-blowing (quite literally) action sequences. Devgn will be seen reprising the role of DCP Bajirao Singham, while Kavya Bhosle will be played by Kapoor. The film also features Amole Gupte and Anupam Kher in pivotal roles.
