The hosts of "Comedy Nights Bachao," Krushna Abhishek and Bharti Singh, will be replaced by Mona Singh in Season 2 of the show. However, the two ace comedians will definitely be part of the cast.
Mona will join the team of "Comedy Nights Bachao" Season 2 as the host, while Krushna and Bharti will be seen performing gags in the revamped version of the show.
"We have been hosting for a year and wanted a change. Mona and I have co-hosted 'Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega' and we know each oher. Besides, she is a good host," DNA quoted Krushna as saying.
The new version of "Comedy Nights Bachao" will be much different in approach as several Bollywood stars had refused to appear on it due to the "roast" format. The Season 2 will have a much toned down approach.
Talking about the change in format in the upcoming season, the comedian told the daily, "The show will be completely positive. Some film stars were not comfortable with the earlier format and stayed away. Akshay Kumar did not come on our show to promote 'Rustom'. We want him to come now. Getting Amitabh Bachchan on the show will be a big thing for us."
Except Krushna and Bharti, the entire cast of "Comedy Nights Bachao" Season 2 has been changed. The new entrants include Mona, Ssharad Malhotra, Nia Sharma, Aditi Bhatia, Sumeet Vyas and Mayank, the report added.
"Comedy Nights Bachao" on Colors TV has been facing competition from "The Kapil Sharma Show" on Sony TV. The Season 2 of the show will be on air from Sept. 25.
