The entire team of "Dilwale" appeared on comedy show "Comedy Nights Bachao" to promote their film.
After "Dilwale" promotions on Kapil Sharma's show "Comedy Nights With Kapil", the team, including Shah Rukh Khan, Kriti Sanon, Varun Dhawan and Varun Sharma, arrived on Bharti Singh's comedy show on 12 December.
SRK and Bharti stole the limelight with their comic act and hilarious dialogues. As everybody knows, SRK is known for his witty statements and he does not mind making jokes on himself.
However, the recent buzz is that SRK asked the makers to delete a few scenes from the episode of "Comedy Nights Bachao". It is said that hostess Bharti Singh and her co-host Krushna Abhishek went a bit too far with their jokes on SRK.
"Shah Rukh took the jibes on his chin as he always does. But then they went a little too far. He asked the producers to remove the more offensive parts which they had no choice but to remove," DNA quoted a source as saying.
Directed by Rohit Shetty, "Dilwale" hit screens on 18 December along with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Bajirao Mastani".
While "Dilwale" is doing well in terms of box office collection, audience and critics have appreciated Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's period drama more.
On the other hand, the SRK and Kajol starrer has also got a good response from fans.
In the film "Dilwale", Varun Dhawan plays the character of SRK's younger brother and Kriti is his love interest. Varun Sharma, Johnny Lever, Boman Irani, and Sanjay Mishra will be seen providing comic elements and punchlines in the movie.
Unlike other Rohit Shetty films, "Diwale" has more romantic scenes than action sequences.
