The on and off friendship between Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan never fails to make news. Latest buzz is that while SRK attended the Colors Annual Party 2014, Salman was nowhere to be seen.
Owing to Salman's absence, it is now being speculated if the "Chennai Express" actor is set to replace Salman as the host of "Bigg Boss 8," reported Bollywood Life.
Salman has been hosting one of the most controversial reality shows for over four seasons and it is said that the "Dabangg" actor has decided to pull back now. There were rumours that the channel and the actor had some issues during the last season of the show, due to which the actor decided to end his stint.
Shah Rukh's presence at the channel's annual party has now set tongues wagging about him being approached to replace Salman. However, there has not been any official confirmation in this regard.
The Shah Rukh and Salman animosity started when the two actors had a tiff at Salman's then girlfriend Katrina Kaif's birthday party and the actors, who had been best of friends until then, stopped communicating post the incident.
After years, the two actors were seen embracing each other at Baba Siddiqui's Iftar party in 2013, after which they were cordial towards each other during a recent award function. It was also said that Shah Rukh requested a special screening of Salman's latest film "Jai Ho" at his residence for his daughter.
Earlier it has been speculated that the hosting duties would be shouldered by Ranbir Kapoor or Ranveer Singh.
