New Delhi, Feb 18 (ANI): Former Jharkhand chief
minister Madhu Koda was granted bail on Wednesday
by a Special Court in coal blocks allocation scam
case despite opposition from the CBI. Earlier in
the morning, the CBI had opposed the bail pleas
of Madhu Koda and seven others alleging that they
have conspired and abused their position to favor
accused firm Vini Iron and Steel Udyog Ltd in
allocation of a coal block. Lawyer Anshuman Sinha
said that the bail application was moved in the
court and the court granted bail to Madhu Koda on
the condition that Koda will not leave the
country.
