Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy is once again in the headlines for allegedly blocking Facebook users for commenting on the recent protests that took place during the Kerala budget presentation by Finance Minister KM Mani.
Some of the agitated blocked users created another page on the social networking site, "Oommen Chandy ബ്ലോക്കിയവരുടെ പേജ്" ("Blockiyavarude Page" - blocked users page), which immediately became popular.
The Facebook page is increasingly gaining popularity among social media users who state they have been blocked by the Kerala CM for commenting on sensitive issues on his official page. The comments were removed from Chandy's official page later.
The anti-Oommen Chandy page was created on Thursday, 19 March, and has gone viral. It has received more than 6,000 likes within five days.
