"Clash of Clans," the popular defence strategy video game from developer Supercell, announced a new Double XP event.
The event was announced in celebration of Clan Wars' second anniversary. The players, who are also called "Clashers," will be able to enjoy the week-long Clash Wars double XP in all their wars.
The event is currently live, Supercell confirmed it via its official Facebook page. The post noted, "All ongoing Wars (preparation or battle day) will get you double XP! smile emoticon."
This will mean that the players who participate in the Clan Wars will get double the XP or experience points than what they were normally getting.
"Clash of Clans" had received several new features in its March update that bought a new trooper, Bowler, new levels to several buildings and troopers, improvements in matchmaking abilities.
However, some publications reported on its March update having "several bugs," which include device compatibility issues and layout editor crashing.
Nevertheless, Supercell introduced an option update that fixed war base edit mode crash and brought visual improvements to the game.
