"Clash of Clans," the popular tower defence video game from developer Supercell, is offering players a week-long one gem collector boost.
This new gift from Supercell comes as a result of the game celebrating its fourth anniversary. The one gem boost is a special resource that boosts all the collectors until Aug. 9, 2016.
Prior to launching the one gem boost, Supercell undertook maintenance for over 20 minutes.
ClashCon 2016 in LA?
Meanwhile, Supercell has hinted (in an official tweet) that Los Angeles will be the location for this year's ClashCon 2016. This follows a similar event held in Helsinki last year.
Supercell usually has the ClashCon event in Helsinki, Finland, where the company is currently based. But now it seems to have realised that having it in Los Angeles could help several players in the U.S. who are unable to travel all the way to Finland.
It is not yet known if there would be two ClashCon events this year nor has the company released the dates for the event, but has suggested that it will be in November. The official ClashCon website is yet to be updated with any new information.
Meanwhile, July also saw a mini update being released to the game. The mini update added new levels of Giant and Archer Tower. The summer update saw the game getting Archer Tower Level 14 and Giant Level 8.
