"Theri" Trailer Goes Viral
The trailer of Ilayathalapathy Vijay's "Theri" was released Sunday, March 20 around 8 p.m., and went viral among the Kollywood audience. In less than two days, the video has got over 2.7 million hits on YouTube and has created a huge buzz around the Tamil film.
Vijay will be seen in three distinct avatars — as characters named Joseph Kuruvila, Vijay Kumar and Dharmeshwar — in "Theri." Viewers feel he has stolen the show with his stylish looks and powerful one-liners in the trailer, apart from having electrifying screen presence.
The trailer offers glimpses of all three of his roles — his portions with Meena's daughter Nainika, Samantha and Amy Jackson, who play the female leads in the Tamil flick. In a limited space, both actresses leave good impression in the minds of the viewers.
Overall, the trailer of "Theri" has all the commercial elements fans of Vijay love to see in his movies.
The Atlee Kumar directorial is produced by Kalaipuli S Dhanu. It will hit the screens April 14 for the Tamil New Year.
