There's no denying that Chrissy Teigen has gorgeous features, and the model is often complimented for her good looks. But recently, the 31-year-old model revealed that she had to go under the knife to make her looks perfect.
"Everything about me is fake except my cheeks," Teigen said during an interaction with beauty editors, according to Byrdie. Pointing to her lips, nose and forehead, she added: "Fake, fake, fake."
She also admitted to getting liposuction performed on her armpits about nine years ago. "I had my armpit sucked out," she said when asked about the craziest treatment she had ever received.
"I had an armpit sucked out, which was one of the best things. It's a big secret, but I don't care. It was nine years ago or so." However, the effects weren't long-lasting, and now Teigen is planning to do it again.
"It made me feel better in dresses; I felt more confident. It was the dumbest, stupidest thing I've ever done. The dumbest, but I like it, whatever. I have no regrets, honestly."
Teigen is the mother of a one-year-old named Luna and in March 2017, she penned an essay on Glamour about dealing with postpartum depression, a condition affecting one in nine women, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. But she took the decision to seek assistance and that helped her a great deal to deal with the struggles of motherhood.
Teigen wrote: "I'm speaking up now because I want people to know it can happen to anybody and I don't want people who have it to feel embarrassed or to feel alone. I also don't want to pretend like I know everything about postpartum depression, because it can be different for everybody. But one thing I do know is that—for me—just merely being open about it helps."
I'll just say it: I have post partum depression. So much love to @glamourmag for letting me share something that was eating me up inside for months and months. One of the most amazing things about social media is the ability to interact candidly with friends and fans and it felt so weird knowing what I was going through but not really feeling like it was the right place to speak on it. I've always felt genuinely close to all of you and I'm insanely relieved you now know something that has been such a huge part of me for so long. My full essay is on the @glamourmag bio. ❤ A post shared by chrissy teigen (@chrissyteigen) on Mar 6, 2017 at 9:24am PST
