Just when we thought Tom Holland and Mark Ruffalo are the pros of revealing spoilers from Marvel movies, Chris Hemsworth raced past the Spider-Man and Hulk to become the king of spoiler land.
The Thor actor "revealed" a slew of Avengers 4 spoilers while receiving his the Teen Choice Sci-Fi Movie Actor award for his portrayal in Thor: Ragnarok at the 2018 Teen Choice Award. He also "revealed" the title of the Avengers Infinity War sequel.
Marvel Studios has been carefully guarding spoilers of the Avengers 4 movie. The Russo Brothers have kept it under wraps as it contains a huge spoiler about the Avengers movie.
However, Hemsworth had no chill and decided to give away the title to troll his fans. The Aussie actor couldn't make it to the award function due to his Men In Black filming. So, he staged a video call with the Teen Choice Award mascot Choicey to discuss Avengers 4.
In the hilarious video call, Hemsworth revealed Thor's new weapon and the title of the film. He ended the chat with an impassioned plea to Thanos to stop killing his friends. While the actor "revealed" the weapon and "announced" the title, fans could not see or hear him due to a "not-so-strong network".
Avengers 4 is slated to release next summer. The filming has completed and a slew of leaked photos have sparked speculations that the Marvel movie will feature time travel and/or flashbacks which will help the Avengers reverse Thanos' snap.
One of the many leaked photos shows the Avengers team recreate a scene from The Avengers, where Thor, Loki and Iron Man are seen together. In another, a setup from Captain America's past is also seen.
Fans will have to wait until May 3 to watch how it all comes together.
