Chris Brown wants the world to know there is still connection between him and Rihanna

Chris Brown reportedly wants to the world to know that he is still in touch with Rihanna. The Loyal singer recently commented on the Barbadian singer's sultry lingerie photos on Instagram, which she posted to promote her Savage X Fenty by Rihanna fashion line. 

Brown posted a flushed emoji, which features its eyes wide open.

According to a report in Hollywood life, the 29-year-old singer "would make his love for Rihanna more public."

However, Rihanna "has made it clear to him multiple times that she wants to keep her personal life on lock down. Chris is usually very careful to follow her wishes but there are times he slips up and does something public, he just can't help himself."

The source said that Chris "wants the world to know there's still a connection between them."

"At this point, it's nothing but a friendship, but the end game for Chris is getting Rihanna back. He won't accept that she's moved on and believes very strongly that one day she'll realize they belong together," the insider added.

"Chris stays in contact with her too in little, subtle ways. A text message here, a DM there, sometimes even a phone call or a voicemail. Chris wants to keep his foot in the door with her in the hopes that one day when the timing is right, he and Rihanna just might have their own happy ending," the source shared.

Brown infamously assaulted the Grammy winner in 2009, by hitting her so forcefully that she had major bruises on her face, a split lip, and a bloody nose. The two briefly reconciled after the 2009 assault and in 2012 collaborated on two songs, Nobody's Business and Birthday Cake (Remix).

Meanwhile, in an interview with Daily Mail, Rihanna's father Ronald Fenty revealed that his daughter and Brown will not be getting back together. He said: "I don't know what their relationship is now. At the basketball, they just said 'hi and hello'. When we were going to the car park he was trying to talk with her but she turned and was talking to somebody else, so he came and talked to me and I had a picture with him. Afterwards, Robyn said, 'dad you really taking pictures with him though?'"

"Let her do what she wants to do. This recycling thing doesn't work for everything, people don't ask me if I could go back with Ms Fenty. Chris is a player, he ain't ready for no one women yet, he ain't ready. He's a party guy," Fenty added.
