It seems that after calling it quits with Karrueche Tran, Chris Brown is allegedly planning to reunite with his ex-girlfriend Rihanna. The buzz is that the "Fine China" hitmaker is pulling all the stops to get back with RiRi. Brown is reportedly sending "romantic texts" to Rihanna.
"He has been trying but will it work this time around? I highly doubt it. Rihanna has moved on from all that drama Chris brings along with him, she is in a much better place now both personally and with her career. So she is not going to entertain his vibe again," a source revealed to Urbanz Island.
Though there is confirmation to the rumour that Brown is trying to get back with RiRi, the singer did reveal that he is still in touch with the "Diamonds" singer. He said that he is friends with his estranged girlfriend.
"Me and her are friends. We have a great understanding, there's no issues. We've been friends for almost 10 years and I don't think that's ever gonna change," he said to Access Hollywood.
Brown and Rihanna dated each other from 2006 to 2009. They were quite vocal about their relationship and were seen taking a slew of romantic vacations together. However, they pulled the plug on their relationship after Brown physically assaulted the singer on the eve of Grammy awards in 2009. He is currently completing his probation in the assault case.
The 25-year-old singer is said to be doing community service for six-hours for five days a week at a facility approved by the Probation Dept, as reported by TMZ. He has been doing activities like cleaning, removing trash, painting and moving furniture. He needs to complete 1000 hours of service before 23 January.
Meanwhile, Rihanna is busy with her new album "R8." Apart from music, she is also trying her hands at new things. She has recently taken on the responsibility of brand creative director at Puma.
