Baylee Curran, the woman who called the police on Chris Brown after the singer allegedly threatened her with a gun, has opened up about her experience. According to celebrity news site TMZ, Curran, who was an old acquaintance of the New Flame hitmaker, was held at gunpoint by Brown as she admired a diamond cross necklace at his California, home on Tuesday (30 August).
I did not pick it up, I did not touch it, take it or grab it, anything to that sort, the model said during an interview with TMZ Live. According to Curran, she was just admiring the diamond jewellery when one of Browns friends confronted her.
Soon after, the 27-year-old rapper himself appeared and reportedly pulled a gun at Curran. Chris came in, pulled out his gun and said, Im getting so sick of you people, pointed the gun at me, [and told me] to get the eff out of the house, the beauty queen added during the interview.
Following the outburst, Curran, who was at the party with a friend, decided to leave Browns property but then realised she had forgotten her phone. She claimed that a friend of the A-lister did bring back her phone along with a non-disclosure agreement. The beauty queen, who holds the title of Miss California Regional 2016, then made a run for it after she grabbed her phone and refused to sign the documents.
I fled down his driveway. I went to the left side of the street, went up a couple houses, was running. Thats when the neighbours heard the commotion and saw me out there and then called the police, and that is when I then called the police, she was quoted as saying by Us Weekly.
After an hour-long stand-off with the Los Angeles Police Department, Brown was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. Although the rapper has denied all allegations maintaining his innocence, Curran claimed that her claims are genuine.
I dont lie, I would never lie. Why, for what? I dont need the publicity. Im already kind of well-known being Miss California Regional, modelling, upcoming actress, so if I was doing this for fame or something of that sort why would I do it this way? she said.
