R&B singer Chris Brown has reportedly enrolled himself in a rehab for temper issues, according to several news reports.
The news comes just after he escaped a possible prison sentence for getting involved in a fist-fight on Sunday. Assault charges were reduced to misdemeanour after the singer pleaded not guilty in the case.
A representative of the singer said in a statement that Brown looks forward to taking some anger management sessions at a rehabilitation center. However, the statement did not reveal how long the singer will be in rahab or where he is checking in.
"Chris Brown has elected to enter a rehab facility. His goal is to gain focus and insight into his past and recent behavior, enabling him to continue the pursuit of his life and his career from a healthier vantage point," the rep said in a statement, according to The Los Angels Times.
Brown also tweeted about his check-in.

Brown has always had temper issues. In 2009, he was charged with domestic violence for beating up his then-girlfriend Rihanna. He is currently on probation for the case and any arrest in this period could land him in jail.
Prosecutors filed probation violation twice against Brown. One was for failing to complete the prescribed 1,400 hours of community service in Virginia and another for a hit-and-run crash, earlier in 2013. This resulted in an additional 1,000 hours of community service for the singer.
Brown spent 36 hours in jail before being released on Monday afternoon, after a trial in a superior court in California. He was asked to report to a probation officer in the next 48 hours and stay at least 100 yards away from the victim, a 20-year-old Isaac Adam Parker.
Brown is in a real vulnerable position right now. The California probation officer will prepare a report for the Los Angeles Judge (Rihanna case Judge), who will decide if he has violated probation. If the verdict goes against Brown, he will have to serve time in jail, reports KTLA News. He is due back in court 20 November.
