While children these days get a lot of opportunities to showcase their talents through TV reality shows, many do not realise the hidden dangers of their quick journey to attain fame and money.
Latest reports from Kerala suggest that a well-known choreographer, who is often involved in stage shows and reality TV shows of popular channels, has been arrested for allegedly molesting a finale contestant of a dance reality show.
According to Malayalam online news portal Marunadan Malayali, 27-year-old Sainulabdeen aka Shanu Master was arrested by the Kerala police for allegedly cheating and sexually assaulting the 16-year-old.
Shanu had reportedly introduced the girl to the reality show "Idea D4 Dance" and he allegedly exploited the girl promising to get her stage shows and film offers.
Apparently, the girl's parents complained to the police regarding this a month ago, but the choreographer was only arrested in Guruvayoor on Wednesday, 8 July. His friend Shafeer (39) is also arrested by Guruvayoor police.
The contestant had reportedly participated in the opening season of the popular dance reality show on a Malayalam entertainment channel in 2014.
Some reports suggested Shanu's involvement in some other similar cases as well.
