The teaser of Chiranjeevi's Khaidi No 150 was recently released online and it has struck a chord with the audience. The 45-second-long video has received 4.42 million views on YouTube in just four days.
Khaidi No 150 is the 150th movie of megastar Chiranjeevi, who is making a comeback to big the screen after 10 years. Hence, the fans of the mega family were eagerly waiting to see the promos of this landmark film, which is scheduled to be released in theatres during Sankranti 2017. Its makers released a teaser on the official YouTube channel of Konidela Production Company on Friday evening (8 December).
The teaser of Khaidi No 150 went viral on the internet within hours creating a lot of buzz on social media. In four days, the video has got 4,421,067 views, 81,158 thumbs up (likes), 7,520 thumbs down (dislikes) and 4,725 comments, most of which are positive responses from the audience. Apparently, it is the most watched and liked teaser of a Telugu teaser in 2016.
Khaidi No 150 is a remake of superstar Vijay's Tamil action film Kaththi. There is a lot of comparison being drawn on the acting and technical fronts of both the movies. Most of the comments posted below the teaser of the film show kind of a war between the fans of Chiranjeevi and Vijay. This fan war is going to be more intense as more promos of the movie will be released.
Ace filmmaker VV Vinayak is directing Khaidi No. 150, which features Chiranjeevi in a dual role. Actresses Shriya Saran and Kajal Agarwal are playing the female leads in the film. Ram Charan, who is making his debut as a producer, is jointly bankrolling the movie with his mother Sureka Konidela and A Subashkaran under the banner of Konidela Production Company.
R Rathnavelu has handled the cinematography for Khaidi No 150. The film unit has recently wrapped up the shooting of the movie, which is currently in the post-production stage. Devi Sri Prasad is composing music for the soundtracks of the film and the makers have planned to release its audio album at a grand function to be held on 23 December.
