The title track of Sundeep Kishan's upcoming film "Tiger" will reportedly have a special appearance of megastar Chiranjeevi and the song will be a tribute to the actor-turned-politician.
The song – 'Tiger-Megastar Mash-up' – is a collection of Chiranjeevi's iconic visuals and dialogues from his hit films. The makers are all set to release a song teaser on Wednesday evening. In the morning, Sundeep Kishan tweeted, "Have a special surprise for all Megastar Fans this evening :) from #Tiger team :)"
"Tiger" is a romance drama, which has been directed by VI Anand and co-produced by Madhu B and NV Prasad. Sundeep Kishan plays a Chiranjeevi fan in the film.
"Sundeep's plays an orphan who names himself Tiger, after the role Chiranjeevi played in the film Lankeswarudu. He is a Chiru fan in real life as well," the director said.
"Tiger" has five songs, including a theme track. S Thaman has composed the music.
Sundeep Kishan says that the title track, a first-of-its-kind video, has been crooned by Sooraj Santhosh and Suchith Suresan, and will a tribute to Chiranjeevi.
"The idea was to pay a tribute to Megastar Chiranjeevi. There have been several similar tributes to Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth in Hindi and Tamil films respectively. So we wanted to pay homage to the Megastar with this song, and I'm thrilled with the buzz the track has already generated," the actor said.
Rakul Preet Singh has done a dubsmash of Sandeep Kishan's dialogue from "Tiger". The dubsmash video, which also features Regina Cassandra, has garnered lot of attention on social media.
"Both Rakul and Regina are my good friends and to Rahul Ravindran, who is co-star in Tiger. It's great to see that a film based on friendship is promoted by my friends," Sundeep said.
