Beijing, Oct 23 (ANI): Prime Minister Manmohan Singh attended a welcome ceremony hosted by Chinese Premier Li Keqiang on Wednesday. Singh arrived at Beijing on Tuesday for the two-day state visit to China. Keqiang held talks with Singh in the Great Hall of the People on Wednesday morning. During the talks, the two sides exchanged views on bilateral relations and other issues of common interest. This is the second time this year that the heads of government of the two countries have met following Li's visit to India in May. India and China are close to an agreement to stop tension on their contested border touching off confrontation while they try to figure out a way to break decades-old stalemate on overlapping claims to long stretches of the Himalayas.
